Northwest Florida will typically get cooler weather during the winter months but snow is not the norm. On 21 Jan 2025, weather events aligned to create an usual winter snow event, Winter Storm Enzo, leaving drifts of 10 to 3 inches across Northwest Florida. This storm broke the state’s record snowfall of 4″ set in 1954. The area last saw snow in 1989.
